Account Deactivation & Data Deletion
Account deactivation and data deletion are different. You can deactivate your VisionRelay account from your account settings, while deletion or erasure requests are reviewed separately by VisionRelay.
Account deactivation
You can deactivate your VisionRelay account from your account settings. Deactivation disables access to your account and signs you out, but it does not automatically erase your account history.
Your task history, workspace activity, payment records, subscription records, files, feedback, and other service records may remain connected to your account so that the account can potentially be reactivated later and so VisionRelay can maintain necessary business and transaction records.
Deactivation is intended for people who want to stop using VisionRelay without requesting permanent removal of their personal information.
How to request data deletion or erasure
- Contact VisionRelay using the support details below, preferably from your registered email address or an existing authenticated task conversation.
- Use the subject VisionRelay data deletion request.
- Explain what you want reviewed for deletion or erasure, such as profile information, uploaded files, particular tasks, comments, annotations, or other personal information.
- Include your account email and any relevant task reference or file name. Do not send your password, one-time codes, full payment card details, or identity documents unless a secure and necessary verification method has been agreed.
- VisionRelay will review account ownership, the requested scope, active work, transaction history, and any records that may need to be retained before explaining the result or any follow-up needed.
If you cannot sign in, contact support from your registered email address. If that address is no longer available, explain the situation so an appropriate ownership check can be arranged.
What a deletion request may cover
Depending on the verified request, deletion or erasure may include profile information, uploaded files, and personal content contained in task briefs, comments, annotations, or other account information.
Some information may instead need to be retained, restricted, or anonymized where reasonably necessary for transaction records, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, accounting, service administration, or other legitimate recordkeeping purposes.
Removing information from the active VisionRelay application is separate from information temporarily retained in provider-controlled logs, backups, or recovery systems. Where applicable, those copies may remain until the provider's normal retention or backup cycle expires.
Before deactivating or requesting deletion
- Download any files you need to keep.
- Resolve any in-progress work, outstanding quotes, disputes, unused credits, or pending refunds with VisionRelay.
- Review any active recurring payment or subscription agreement. Deactivating your VisionRelay account does not automatically cancel billing handled by an external payment provider.
Monthly credits continue to follow their original billing period. Deactivation or a deletion request does not automatically extend credits or create a refund entitlement.
Returning after deactivation
Because deactivation is different from deletion, VisionRelay may be able to reactivate the same account later. If reactivated, retained task, workspace, payment, subscription, and service history may again become available to that account.
A completed data deletion or erasure request is different. Information that has been deleted or anonymized may not be recoverable if you return later.
Social accounts and other providers
Removing VisionRelay from Google or Microsoft does not automatically delete your VisionRelay account or its existing task records. The same principle applies to other sign-in providers you may have connected. Removing a provider connection does not by itself delete your VisionRelay account.
A VisionRelay deletion request also does not delete your Google, Microsoft, PayPal, PayMongo, or other third-party account. Those accounts must be managed directly with the relevant provider.
See our Privacy Policy for more information about how VisionRelay handles personal information and third-party services.
